Every FEFCO code consists of four digits. They replace long descriptions with a single convention that manufacturer, supplier and buyer all share.
The main category — the structural type of the box (e.g. 02 = slotted-type boxes).
The specific style within that category (e.g. 01 = flaps that meet in the middle). A suffix such as 0201.2 indicates a manufacturer variant.

The styles most often requested in practice. Filter by category to quickly find the one that suits your application.
Half slotted container
Bottom flaps only, open top. Combined with a separate lid. An economical bin or tray.
Regular slotted container
The global standard. Top and bottom flaps meet in the middle. Versatile, delivered flat and cost-efficient at any run length.
Overlap slotted container
Partially overlapping flaps for extra rigidity and protection against knife damage when opening.
Full overlap slotted container
Fully overlapping flaps. A double layer at the top and bottom for heavy or fragile products and high stacking loads.
Slotted box with partition
The base folds into a built-in partition. Ideal for bottles, jars and fragile items.
Tuck-flap box
Fast manual assembly without tape. High throughput on medium-sized packing lines.
Telescope box
A separate lid and base that slide over each other. Variable height and a double wall for extra strength.
Telescope box (base + lid)
A base and lid with flaps on one side that combine into a closed, sturdy whole.
One-piece folder
A single die-cut piece that folds like a cross around flat, slim products. Self-locking, no tape.
Folder with buffers
Integrated buffers protect the contents in a corner drop. For flat, heavy or fragile items.
Five panel folder
A sturdy wrap-around box for rod-shaped products. Quick to assemble and tape-free.
Mailer box
The e-commerce favourite. Double walls, self-locking ears, no tape. A perfect print surface for a clean unboxing.
Postal box
Similar to the 0427 but with higher board utilisation — more economical at large run lengths.
Sleeve / tube packaging
Wraps and protects books and media for shipping. Slide-and-sleeve construction.
Bliss box
A body with two separate end panels, stitched or glued. Very high strength for heavy industrial goods.
Auto-lock bottom box
The base locks into place automatically as the box is erected. Fast packing with no tape on the base.
Auto-bottom box with tuck-in lid
A crash-lock base with a tuck-in lid. Quick to erect and a neat presentation without tape.
Interior fitments
Partitions, dividers, edge protectors and pads that hold the product firmly in place inside the box.
